12 weeks and don’t feel pregnant

Hi there, I’m 12 weeks +5 and I just don’t feel pregnant at all! I did have sore veiny boobs but they just don’t hurt anymore, they still seem veiny. I have no feeling in my lower tummy not even mild cramps to remind me everything is going to plan and stretching down there. I have my first scan with the NHS tomorrow and I’m absolutely terrified they will tell me something bad, I had a scab at 6 and 9 weeks and everything looked perfect with a strong heartbeat but that was atleast 3 weeks ago. Has anyone else felt like this and had a happy healthy pregnancy and baby?

I’ve had 3 pregnancies and they all feel like this around 8-12 weeks. It’s your hormones settling cos the placenta takes over growing the baby.

best of luck for your scan tomorrow ❤️

That was meant to say scan not scab 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you for your reassuring words. I have had multiple miscarriages so really on edge just praying for the best result tomorrow 🤞🏻

I don’t think I “felt pregnant” until I got to about 25 weeks with both of mine. People differ a lot as to how they find pregnancy, I think - I really would try not to worry at this point.

To be honest I’m almost 16 weeks with my second and feel less pregnant than I did with my first! I lost a fair amount of weight after my first and barely have a bump!! Waiting to feel pregnant too!!

Firealarm1414 · 17/08/2025 09:24

I never "felt" pregnant during my pregnancy, had zero symptoms such as morning sickness etc and even when I was full term, besides the obvious bump, I still pretty much felt normal. So I dont think its worrying to not "feel pregnant" at all. Best of luck!

This is really, really normal. With a strong heartbeat at 9 weeks, you have very high liklihood that everything is fine.

Hi everyone
Just wanted to update everyone or anyone in future looking at this thread, I went to my scan and everything was absolutely fine. I still don’t feel pregnant 😂 but little squish is doing well in there and even gave their mammy and daddy a wave on the screen! The sonographer even said our baby was the most well behaved baby she had seen all day ☺️ had my dates exact so I am 13 weeks +1, we left the room with our hearts feeling full and I can’t wait to see them again for their 20 week scan. 🤍
