When do you get a dye stealer line

I'm 4 weeks 4 days pregnant but my test line is not as dark as the control line yet. Does anyone remember when they first got their test line as dark as the control line?

I’m also 4 weeks 4 days today - happy due date twins! What tests are you using? These are mine from today (18dpo) if you wanted to post hours? I definitely think it depends what tests you are using

Never. I tested for quite a long during both of my pregnancies, and never got a dye stealer. I have 2 healthy babies, so I really don't think it matters.

About a week after my missed period I got dye stealers with my four pregnancies. I got the biggest dye stealer from a Clearblue. It almost looked like one vertical line instead of a cross.

The lines were as dark as each other from my day of missed period, but when it was so dark it made the other line faint, that was about a week, I meant.
