Nipt test

I’m in the UK and have received my nipt test (window to womb) results back which I don’t quite understand does the baby have 21,18 and 23 chromosome defects? - I’ve attached it. Please help… thanks

This looks normal to me, diploid is what you want (you are testing for a trisomy) and the fetal fraction is high enough for a good degree of accuracy

I would say no - diploid means there’s a complete set of chromosomes - as there should be.

Downs etc are as a result of an extra copy of the chromosome (hence the name Trisomy).

I wouldn’t be worried by this 😊

I had these tests privately through our IVF clinic, you should have had a discussion alongside the results? These all look fine ‘low risk’, I’ll
attach a synopsis that ChatGPT provided but I would call your healthcare provider!

Thats it! No further reports - maybe that’s normal for window to the womb?

As above post

Here’s your visual summary of the NIPT results, showing all tested conditions:

Mine came back the same. Also windows of the Womb. I assume everything's fine as all low risk.

Please can I ask how long it took to receive your results through Window to the Womb?

Exactly 1 week for the most complete nipt test.

Thank you! We just got ours back today at exactly a week after the test too.

May I asked if anyone had sex results as part of their NIPT through window through the womb? I’m waiting for our results and although we opted in to finding out baby’s sex I’m hoping it comes on a separate document or something? Im very nervous about the NIPT results overall as we lost our daughter through stillbirth due to Monosomy X last year.

Yes ours was in two separate pdfs on the email, obviously named and it gave you a password for gender so you didn’t accidentally open it

Thank you that is reassuring! I know it might seem odd but after our history I may not want to check the gender results if we have anything else that is high risk. Trying to keep any (potential for) joy separate from the terror!
