12 and 13 dpo faint lines

Hi,

just for background-

I had a miscarriage close to 7 weeks in April 2023

I got pregnant again in June 2023 and had a beautiful daughter in March 2024

I tested positive again this month at 10 dpo (confirmed ovulation with digital ovulation test)

I’m now 13 dpo and worried that the tests are too faint

With my only successful pregnancy the lines got dark fast and I’m worried these tests are looking more like my first pregnancy tests

I am prepared for a negative outcome and think I will be able to handle it better than I did the first time. I know I can try again and I already have an amazing child.

Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences of getting faint lines or poor line progression?

I’ve attached some pictures

These look like fine lines to me.
I've had tests that are super super faint at 13dpo and ended in my daughter, other that ended in mc, tests that have been super dark and ended in mc and tests that have been dark and ended in my other daughter.
Currently at 27 weeks with a faint liner after a mmc that was still showing dark lines days after I had passed sac and baby.
The darkness of the test does not have any indication of the viability of the pregnancy, just that you have hcg in your urine.
If you're feeling quite anxious about it, it may be an idea to request blood tests from your doctor as the numbers are a lot more indicative of a viable pregnancy/might put you're mind more at ease. But even then nothing is set in stone
Good luck to you!

Thank you for your reply

I’ve attached my test at 15dpo pm

It is darker but still not a dye stealer

for anybody watching the thread I’ll update on the outcome either way x

The second one looks quite dark!

Momstermash94 · 12/08/2025 17:01

I definitely don't think the lines look faint in your latest picture. Congratulations OP

LaTable · 12/08/2025 17:47

That's a super dark 15dpo! You could still barely see mine at 15dpo on this pregnancy!
also not everybody gets a dye stealer, don't set your heart on it!
It's all looking very promising @strawberrydream95!

That looks like a good line to me. I don’t think I ever got a dye stealer but now have a snack stealer and am 35 weeks pregnant with another non-dye stealer (although to be fair, I stopped testing by 5 weeks this time).

That’s a great improvement with your line!
sorry to jump on your post but I am also dealing with a vfl at possibly 14dpo. I’m hoping that I’ve just got my dates wrong and I o’d later than I thought

@LaTable thanks for this! That’s really reassuring to hear. I guess I will just need to retest in a few days and hope for a stronger line 🤞

Went for a private scan at 6+1 and there is a tiny baby with a heartbeat

Good luck to everyone with there pregnancy journey xx
