Hi all,

I brought some ready to eat seafood sticks from Tesco as I fancied it with a salad as I also have gestational diabetes. I checked the fish and it’s pollock and hake which are fine in pregnancy.

however, I have got myself worrying about listeria now as the internet isn’t clear on whether they are safe or not!

Are these ok? I’m worried I have harmed my baby now :(

Blimey. Apart from high Vit A foods, I ignored the list. What is it about crabsticks you're worried about?

Think when I fell down the Google rabbit hole it mentioned about the potential risk of listeria because it’s ‘ready to eat’ !

that’s when it got me concerned!

How many times did you contract listeria before you fell pregnant?

Jesus stop googling all you will do is panic yourself about nothing

Get off Google

I know - I will admit I’m the worst for googling!

Just don’t want my stupid decisions harming my baby!
