Can anyone help interpret this 'potty shot' image?

Very confused...

It's a weird angle but maybe the best they could get. They seem pretty confident it's a boy though. Do you remember anything from the scan as it moved on the screen? In my experience, boys are pretty clear as it sits out front quite clearly.

No she didn't really explain, which is why I'm confused, scan was at 24 weeks as decided at last minute to find out. At 20 weeks scan they told us to look away but I had a sneaky peak and couldn't see anything sticking out.

Have read quite abit about how sometimes told it's a boy but can be a girl as can be swollen.

Images online at similar gestation look much more obvious

It can depend how the baby is lying too. At 24 weeks it should be pretty clear.

I always kept in mind they could be wrong when they told me. It looked obvious to me but I know it's not 100% accurate, so I assumed it was right but kept an open mind in case the opposite sex popped out. I always looked at birth to verify. :-)

Yes I agree the only thing at to be 100% is when baby is actually here.

Just wish it was a clearer image 🙈

I got my gender scans done from the same place in both pregnancies, I got them done pretty early around 15-16 weeks and they were right each time. 😊

I think it’s an image taken from behind, so baby’s scrotum is what you can see.
i think it’s a boy. Congratulations
