Hi, I had something similar in March. The lines didn’t really “take off” so to speak and some were lighter some days. The ending wasn’t good for me, however whilst I was reading every corner of the internet some people went on to have healthy pregnancies.
People are right in what they say, they are not a quantitative test so to speak, they simply tell you if you’re pregnant or not. However we’re all guilty of using them to see them get darker to reassure us of rising hcg, especially if we’ve had losses previously.
that being said, that doesn’t guarantee a healthy pregnancy either…..
what I’m trying to say is, unless you’re using the same brand at the same time after drinking the exact same amount of liquid, the science isn’t accurate and not even then.
Some people hate the week indicators but for me after my 2 losses they did give me reassurance with this pregnancy and I’m now nearly 16 weeks.
if you’re having no signs of bleeding or severe cramping then I’d say step away from the tests and book a reassurance scan for 7 weeks. Testing continuously is stressful and ultimately won’t change the outcome.
I wish you the best, I hope you have a sticky bean xx
