im meant to be loving this time, but I am nervous all the time. I go to the loo and the last two days I’ve seen light brown residue when I wipe, though been informed this is likely normal, but doesn’t feel it. Have to wait another few weeks for first midwife apt (I’m 7 weeks)

has anyone got any tips to help irrational fears ? My boyfriend is being amazing but I’m sleeping rubbish and Adrenalin is high and I know I’m doing more harm being like this

anyone relate / have advice?

I'm pregnant after losses and completely relate to spending the pregnancy terrified of losing it.

My best advice is to take each day at a time. Don't think about getting through the next few weeks, just about getting through the day. Keep busy and try to keep your mind off it. It does get easier

Xx

It’s so hard to calm your mind when it’s literally all you can think about

im so sorry to hear about your losses… this is my first pregnancy and know it can be a journey , but u never think until it happens how scary it can be.

congratulations on this pregnancy I truly wish you all the best ❤️❤️ and it takes strength to continue on so I’m sure when your baby arrives they will be too, and brave!

Hope you’re keeping well and dealing well with pregnancy symptoms? Xx

I'm sorry I can't give any advice but I can totally relate.

8 years of trying and nothing, then I've tested about 6 times in the past 3 days and I'm showing positive (not that I believe it). Have "better" tests coming tomorrow to see if it helps me accept.

I have PCOS too and I'm nearly 40. At lunchtime I finally updated my app to "pregnant" hoping this helped me accept, then went the bathroom and had quite a bit of light brown watery stuff on the tissue and was straight back to "yeah I'm fooling myself. Despite reading A LOT about how this is "normal". Also, because I've had mild to moderate intermittent cramps and slightly tender nips now and then I've been adament my period will start any minute and confirm bad news. To the point where I've been wearing a pad for 3 days.

I also fully expect I will stress about every appointment and milestone the entire journey, and then I hear when people do have kids that's when the rrally worry begins 😅 but hopefully at that point I'll be privelaged to worry.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know I think I totally get it and hoping we get to chill and have repeated happy news! X

Its easy to say try not to worry but I was terrified when I was pregnant, I'd previously had an ectopic and I have PCOS but I worried for no reason, my baby is nearly 4 years old! Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy 🥰

Thanks so much, that's really kind.

I'm definitely doing better as the pregnancy goes on and feels more stable, but I know the fear will never go entirely. Taking each day at a time has got me through, and I'll just focus on sticking with that strategy!

I had very bad morning sickness for weeks but thankfully that's mostly passed.

Praying things will stay good for both of us xx

I am exactly the same. I had 2 losses last year and am literally 2 weeks now and I am so so scared. It’s constant when you go to the toilet and wipe.
I hope everything goes well for you

Hi, reaching out to offer some reassurance. I had a mostly healthy twin pregnancy with PCOS, with bleeding between weeks 8-14 due to hematoma. I spent the rest of my pregnancy quite anxious until week 33-36, when I was sure my kids would be healthy even if delivered prematurely. Thus said, please discuss your concerns with the midwives and even go see a doctor privately if you can afford. Regular checkups really helped me feel better.
