4 weeks 5 days spotting and back pain

Had a due stealer this morning but have quite bad back cramps like a period so thought I’d check slightly internally for bleeding and there was brownish red blood inside. I have no other pregnancy symptoms like I did last time (my last pregnancy ended in loss when he was 5 days old) I take cyclogest rectally and thought that would help this time with the bleeding. I’m so scared I’m going to loose this as I’ve been ttc 13 years in total. Is this normal?

I did have some very light brown spotting with my last pregnancy and it was fine. Only time will tell though. Wishing you the best x

Hi @ambergallagher94 I am also on cyclogest, just prescribed yesterday. I got a faint positive at 9/10dpo and tests progressed very well over the weekend. On Monday (12/13dpo) I noticed pink spotting and I had cramping. I have had two losses this year (one mc c. 7 weeks and an early loss before 5 weeks). The mc started with light pink spotting, so I freaked out. GP put me on cyclogest and aspirin yesterday. I noticed that the blood was more dark brown last night. Hoping like yourself that it goes away!

I’ve started heavily bleeding since this post and have been told to assume miscarriage and to let it pass.
