I’ve heard Burt’s Bees Belly Butter, Earth Mama - but bio oil apparently has vitamin A which isn’t great for while pregnant?

any recommendations for the best products please?

There’s not a whole lot you can do. It’s hugely down to genetics and how big your belly and boobs (and other parts) become.

any nice rich cream will do the same anyway. Just use what you like

Another thread yesterday mention Mothers Special Blend which you can get from the US via Amazon. Supposedly fabulous stuff. I however think it’s all a load of bollocks and none of them make a jot of difference with stretch marks/sagging etc!

Vitamin E oil but it’s really down to your collagen

Use whichever you like best, none will actually do anything much.

When I had DC1 I covered myself in oils and creams and didn’t have any stretch marks during my pregnancy and I had no sagging skin or any other issues afterwards.

When I had DC2 I couldn’t be bothered with any of it and used nothing, I had no stretch marks and no sagging skin or any other issues afterwards.

I think it’s all down to genetics and I wasted my money the first pregnancy!

I used Nivea in Shower Moisturiser and Bio Oil my first pregnancy.

A Lot of it is down to genetics and how big / small you were pre pregnancy.

My skin went incredibly dry throughout both pregnancies and I was getting through moisturiser by the bucket load. For me, I opted for cheap and cheerful - Tesco own (Fred & Flo) baby lotion. Less than £1 for 500ml.
