Hi I’m a mum of 3 (singleton and twins). My partner and I decided to try for a baby as this one will be his first, we have been together 6 years.

Got my IUD removed on 23rd April and got my BFP on 3rd August. I had prepared myself for a long wait so I’m absolutely over the moon it’s happened so fast but also feeling very nervous!

anyone else in a similar situation?

Congratulations! Have you joined the due in April 26 group yet? There’s a few of us 40 and over 🥰

I’m 36 and due December but otherwise in the same situation- I have twins and a singleton too. Congratulations!

Congratulations! 🎉 I'm 39 and due in March when I'll be almost 40! This is also my 4th (3 teenagers) and first with new partner

Hi girls, hope everyone is ok. Got back from my holidays last night and done another test this morning expecting to see a blazing positive result after 4 days. The line is just as light as it was on Sunday so now I’m really worried in case it’s a chemical. I’ve never had one before so don’t know what to expect but I’ve seen other posts where people’s lines haven’t got darker and it’s been a chemical. Anyone have experience of this? 😢 I’m so worried 😞

Oh I'm sorry it wasn't as dark as you were expecting, I can only tell you my experience but that doesn't mean it'll be the same for you. I had 2 chemicals before this pregnancy, the first one I had faint lines like yours for a couple of days then they gradually turned negative (even had 1-2 weeks on a digital!) I ended up getting my 'period' only a couple of days late. The second one, the lines darkened quite well around 14/15 dpo but then started getting lighter so I knew 😞 bleeding took a week to start that time and was quite heavy.
It was absolutely awful being in that limbo not knowing so I really do sympathise. The lines should be at least staying the same or darkening, if they're getting lighter that's not a good sign I'm afraid. I really hope this isn't the case for you and they darken up over the next few days 🤞🏼

I was worried that would be the case, luckily they haven’t got any lighter so fingers crossed. I just want to know either way. Like you say it’s the limbo isn’t it! 😞

@Wingingitlife I know it's so stressful, I was literally googling like crazy trying to find good outcomes 😔 I guess if this is a chemical (which is super common) it shows you can get pregnant with your partner which is actually a really good sign! I just tried to take heart from that even though it was still absolutely devastating. I tested like crazy this pregnancy right up til nearly 6 weeks because I was so paranoid after 2 of them! Good luck, keep testing and hopefully you'll know soon one way or the other 🤞🏼

Sadly I started bleeding today so I think I’ve definitely had a cp 😢 back to day one for me fingers crossed next month will be my month 🤞🏼 xx

Oh no I'm so sorry to read this. I had a MMC in June. I know how hard it is. I'm now shocked that I am pregnant again and hoping this one sticks.
I hope you are ok and it happens soon. So sorry to post previously without catching up properly, I was watching the post since you posted and only tested yesterday.
Sending hugs.
