20 week 1 day scan - can someone explain!

Hi all, 20 week 1 day scan and wondering if anyone could explain the picture to me.
Not sure if I am seeing the cord or legs and really confused. Also anyone guess the gender ( baby was not playing ball )

I'm terrible at these but maybe babies legs are open, with the closer knee bent and sort of splayed towards us and the other flatter pointing towards the right hand side...

If so I'd say a girl but anybody else's guess would be better than mine! 🤣
