Hi guys I’m 36 weeks and 4 days I have been expressing colostrum now for 4 day I have been given the ok to do so by my midwife. I have been doing it 2-3 time a day and I have 20 ml already I’m freezing it every day. This is my second pregnancy and my first time expressing, just looking for some advice on wether I’m collecting too much or not thanks x

I don't think you can really have "too much", worst case you don't use it all I guess. I had a really long labour over three days and then a night in hospital so the day I got home I gave my partner (who had slept the night before) all my frozen colostrum and he stayed up and watched/ fed the baby while I slept for a whole eight hours. It was blissful and I was so glad I had made the effort to freeze it. He used it all - if I remember right, baby drinks about 5ml a feed to start with but they will feed every couple of hours.
