Lump in throat - so annoying!

Hi all

For the past few days I have had what feels like a lump in my throat. I feel like I need to burp or swallow to get rid of it but when I do this it doesn't go anywhere. Sometimes it feels like if I do burp then some sick will come up too (sorry for TMI)

Has anyone else had this? Is it a pregnancy thing or is it just me ?

OOoo, I've got that. 24 weeks and still there. Dunno what it is or what to do about it though.

I have this, but I am not pregnant I have had it on and off for about fifteen years, comes on when I am either stressed or have just recovered from being stressed. According to my GP it is a stress related thing, and you just have to wait until it goes away (for me this usually takes about two months after the stress has resolved). My accupuncturist friend tells me that it is known as plum stone, and a session with her needles would fix it. Otherwise have you tried Gaviscon, it may simply be indegestion caused by the internal pressures of your baby.

I have this off and on, usually makes me feel sick & sometimes actually makes me sick. I've tried Settlers which help me a bit

Apparently its heartburn, someone mentioned it as a possiblility and I googled the symptoms and it matches. Yesterday it was awful and I was actually sick so I spoke to my GP who said I could use Gaviscon which hasn't completely cured it but made it much better - and its fine to take in pregnancy apparently. My doc said that if the Gaviscon doesn't help then they can prescribe some acid-preventing thing which helps but so far the Gaviscon seems ok.

Fingers crossed it goes away!

HI guys I have this experience recently that when I drank icy drink my lips, throat tongue,
and the roof of my mouth have this burning and swollen effect? and than feels like something stuck in my throat and feels really discomfort as if something stuck there and wont go away.. And also my fingers go numb and feels like sharp needles pricking my fingers... Any help? Thanks...

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THE LUMP IN MY THROAT TOO! So glad it's not me going mental!
