I know nobody can actually answer that question, but I'm finding this pregnancy so much more challenging on my body than the first and wondering if these signs point to going into labour soon?

Really struggling with my mobility, getting in and out of bed for a wee during the night is really painful.
Having to wee virtually non stop, increased a lot over the last week.
A lot of pressure on my groin.
Constant hip pain.
Can't walk for very long at all.

Does this sound normal for 36 weeks or am I getting close to birth? The first time I was so active and could get up and down like a yo-yo so I'm really struggling this time around.

I'm sorry I can't help much, but I can relate. Im 37 weeks and been dealing with the same as you for about 2 weeks now, with this week getting worse and now dealing with period like cramps the last few days. My midwife told me the cramps is probably my cervix getting softer, because the pain is low down. This is my first pregnancy so I've no frame of reference, but I'm definitely ready for this baby to come and hoping it's soon!

I felt that way with my second, baby was very low midwife would look at me every appointment and could tell she thought it wasn't long to go..... Baby wasn't born until 41 weeks.. no one can really tell unfortunately. Take care of yourself and get as much rest as you can! Not too long now :)

@Shynslk sorry to hear you're struggling too, fingers crossed we're both not waiting too much longer!

@Eenameenadeeka oh god the thought of getting to 41 weeks seems like climbing a mountain at the minute. Rest is a luxury with a toddler but trying my best haha

I’m 37 weeks and feeling the same. This pregnancy is definitely harder than my first. I think it’s partly because my body is a couple of years older and also because I have a toddler to look after so less chance to rest etc.
I’m doing what I can to encourage baby to come out - drinking raspberry leafy tea, eating dates, a lot of time on the ball, walks.
Hopefully not long left 🤞
