Light period after period being late for a week

My period got late about a full week I experienced pink Brown discharge early morning the during the day was this light red blood

are they blood clots the darker red bits in the photo? If so you should get checked out blood clots are a concerning sign and I’ve been told to see a midwife if I experience any

It doesn’t sound like OP is pregnant though as the thread is about her period. Blood clots when on your period are totally normal
