Feel so daft and selfish.

This baby is so loved and wanted whatever its gender but couldn't help crying when I found out hers is pink.

I'm so daft.

I have just had ds4 and while I was pg SIL had a baby girl and called her MY girl name and as our kids share a surname it is in fact the full name my imagined dd would have had! In irrational moments I still cry about it even thoygh ds4 is gorgeous!

Im only almost 11 weeks so this COULD be a girl ... but the hairy lip and tummy I had on previous boy pregnancies is surfacing again so I'm not convinced!

I've already asked if we can swap

Disenchanted, if the old wives tales were right, ds4 should have been a girl so I'd ignore any hairiness or lack thereof![girn]

I know exactly how you feel.....I was convinced DS2 was a girl and thankfully found out at the 20 week scan that he was indeed a boy and for 3 days I was very upset . Having 2 boys is fantastic, and I am glad I found out otherwise would have been very disapoointedc at delivery.....I think becuase I had totally convinced myself it was a girl as symptoms were totally different. Am now 16 weeks with 3rd DC and whilst I secretly would love a girl, I have resigned myself to the fact it indeed is probably going to be another boy. Whatever the flavour, all kids are great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
