Pregnancy after placental abruption TW BABY LOSS

My son was born at 15 weeks. The week before this, I had a large bleed and was told that there was a tear in my placenta and a large blood clot next to it; a scan showed my baby was fine at this point. I was advised to 'take it easy' but the doctor and midwives didn't seem too concerned.

I had more pains and bleeding a week later and was told that he was going to be born and they couldn't stop it. My waters didn't break so I don't think I had an infection. I'm assuming that my placenta came away some more but it could be up to six months before I get answers.

I was told that my next pregnancy would be under fetal medicine and I would have additional monitoring. Before this pregnancy, I had a missed miscarriage at eight weeks and two years ago a completely uncomplicated pregnancy that gave me my daughter.

For anyone who has sadly had a similar experience, what did the additional monitoring look like in your next pregnancy?

I am so sorry for your loss, I have no advice but I could not read this and not say something. Best wishes for a smooth and healthy next pregnancy 💐
