Success stories of healthy pregnancy after cervical biopsy’s!?

Hi
I have had two separate biopsies (cone) 3 the 1st round and 4 taken on the 2nd time round. My question is will this effect my cervix at all and can I have a successful pregnancy? When I look online it says the biopsy may weaken the cervix? Anyone had any issues or susses with a pregnancy after having cervical biopsies? I have heard they can put a stitch in your cervix if they think it’s weakened in anyway ? Thanks

It might affect your cervix yes. My sister had a biopsy of her cervix but has had 3 successful pregnancies since then, they did put a cervical stitch in each time.

Yes I've had it done twice and they removed a lot, I was a high risk pregnancy but my cervix was fine and no stitch needed. Now on my third pregnancy and all has been great :)

I had a cone biopsy years ago, and later got pregnant without any issues. That said, my OB did keep a closer eye on my cervix length during ultrasounds just to be safe. If there’s any sign of it shortening too much, they can absolutely do a cervical stitch (cerclage) to help support things. It’s more common than you think and can make a big difference
