Negative dipstick but pain in urethra

Hi all,

I’m 25 weeks pg. have had chronic UTI for 12 years (dipstick has always been positive for something) and for the last 2 weeks I’ve had this incredible sharp pain in my urethra when I sit up from a lying down position, only when there is anything in my bladder (which feels tiny nowadays). Just seen midwife today and dipstick was negative. Not experiencing any pain that I usually get when not pg. Is this normal for pregnancy? I can’t imagine another 15 weeks of this.
