I purchased this off fertility family, initially for PCOS symptoms (I was diagnosed recently). It contains 400mcg of folic acid but also myinositol and a few other ingredients - wondering if anyone has taken this throughout pregnancy and if this has worked for them??

my BMI is 27 and the tablet is aimed at those for BMI over 25.

i am worried about taking them now pregnant and have to wait for a midwife call which could take 10 days - I don’t want to go ages without folic acid if this is recommended!

any support much appreciated - I am nearly 6 weeks pregnant

I've gone through the same, told to try Inafolic Alpha (I chose the plus due to BMI and tablets are easier to take) and I lost a bit of weight too, now I'm nearly 5 weeks pregnant and I'm still taking them. It does say you can take them through pregnancy; I know it contains the recommended daily amount of folic acid we need and apparently the myo-inositol is reported to help with glycemic control and prevent gestational diabetes which we're probably prone to with the PCOS.

Did you manage to speak with your Midwife? What was her advice?

Hope all is going smoothly for you and continues to 😊
