Pregnant naturally after 3 failed IVF

I’m just over 5 weeks pregnant, very unexpectedly, after 3 failed rounds IVF (6 x embryos) and likely failed due to chromosome issues (due to age).

should I be realistic and expect this to end in MC as it will also likely be from a poor egg 😞

I got pregnant naturally after years of (successful) fertility treatment. It does happen though felt totally crazy.

But in reality all you can do is wait , tests will be done and at some point you will have more information to know what to do.

My dd was conceived naturally after years and years of trying and then a failed round of IVF. I understand your worry completely having gone through it myself, and I don’t know the answer to your question, but I wanted to say congratulations!

I’m feeding DD2 now after similar. 5 failed transfers of 12 embryos total and then the 13th worked unexpectedly and got DD1. 51 weeks to the day later DD2 was born following natural conception and an uncomplicated pregnant. She’s a month now. Good luck.

Massive congratulations - we had the same experience three failed ivfs at 37/38 in the wait for the next ivf round I fell pregnant naturally and gave birth at 39. I shall keep everything crossed for you ❤️

Hey OP, I'm currently pregnant naturally after 3 failed IVF transfers. There was never any explanation given as to why the transfers failed, but I'd largely given up on another when I just fell pregnant at home. I'll hit 35 weeks pregnant tomorrow and all is well so far. I know nobody can guarantee either of us a successful pregnancy, but I believe we have every chance x

My DD was conceived first month on clomid after 6 rounds of failed ivf. The clomid was an afterthought, they’d given me a 5% chance of conceiving and told me to quit ivf. I ignored the pregnancy for the first five months (took care of myself obviously but couldn’t bring myself to believe it would result in a baby). She’s now 10. So I know exactly how you feel.
