I’m currently 33+4 weeks pregnant, I have had vanishing twin syndrome that happened with the other twin who didn’t make it past 9+1 weeks, my baby girl is healthy and doing well, I don’t feel like you get much help after hearing about devestating news, it broke me but I just want to know whoever has experienced this, how many weeks was you when you gave birth? I want to know as I don’t know anyone who has birth story’s to help ease my mind

Hi, yes I had a vanishing twin pregnancy. I found out just after 8 weeks (private scan, twins) and at the 12 week scan (12+2) that one had not made it.

For me there was no support, it was more 'well you've got this baby still'. It broke me too, i still think of the baby that's not here.

But to answer your question, my little girl came at 41+1.

I wish you a peaceful and as possible, relaxing, remainder of your pregnancy (I know it's hard) and good luck with the start of all the new things to come xx

Hey! Same situation here. Lost the twin at 9 weeks. I ended up having to be induced at 39+1 for preclampsia.
Hope it all goes well for you :)
