HAVE U SEEN A BFP THIS STRONG AT 9&11 Dpo?

I thought I was unwell with bleeding in-between my period as I had Spotting around 6DPo & 9Dpo (was only tracking for stomach problems) so not definitely OV then but had a period 2/7/25

Took a test 2 days later BFP and a strong one!

Has anyone had one this strong 7 Days before period is due? (I don't think my dates are wrong unless last period wasn't one)

They do look strong, and the date indicator works off HCG levels and should only be 1-2 weeks (if even) based on your dates.
Are you now doubting your last period? Was it different to normal?

Hi, the clear blue date tests are from conception not the first day of your last period which is how pregnancy is normally dated. So suggests you're 4/5 weeks pregnant.

Based on what you've said it sounds like your last period was implantation bleeding. I'd ring the early pregnancy unit tomorrow and explain you've had some bleeding and spotting and are unsure on dates. Hopefully they'll get you in for a scan and you'll get a date there. Although they usually can't see much until about 6 weeks.

My period are sometimes heavy and sometimes light never the same so it's hard to tell. I definitely had a bleed around the usual time for about 4 days. I thought the Spotting at 6p0 & 9DPO would have been implantation. Making the test very dark for the time frame. Unless my last period has been implantation and this has been new spotting and I'm actually 4-5 weeks..Can the line be this dark at 4-5 weeks ?

I have a scan in 2 weeks to reassure baby is in the right place as I've had an ectopic a few years ago but the line was very faint at that time at 8weeks.. so I'm really hoping it can't be the case with an early strong BFP.

I got a strong BFP with my 3 year old but i was already 11weeks when I took the test.

(I know everyone is different, I'd just like to hear some other views as it's hard to find anything..most test look.like they are lighter than the control line)

That would make sense 4-5 and the new spotting cld have been anything as it stopped and no more punching pains so far. I'm still not due Flow for 3 days just find it crazy to have such a strong BFP.

Just learned about dye stealers today at possible the same amount of weeks I am so hoping it's all good.

I had an ectopic a few years ago and seen a strong BFP too early cld indicate this although mines was very faint at 8weeks.

This happened to me in June. Took an early test. 6 days before period due. I was tracking ovulation. Strong bfp line and Clear blue also said I was 2-3 weeks when it defo should have said 1-2 weeks. I’ve had a few scans and each time they say I’m further along than I thought. Baby currently measuring a week ahead of the date going by lmp. Which isn’t really possible as I know when ovulated but must just mean growing big and strong x
