Pink spotting at 5 weeks

I’m currently 5 weeks and a day so very early on.

Yesterday morning I noticed a small amount of light pink after wiping with a pin prick of blood. Naturally I panicked. I’ve had three children and I never had any kind of bleeding with them so I automatically assumed the worst. I expected it would get heavier but I haven’t had anything since.

I don’t know what to think. I don’t want to cling onto hope just to have it dashed but is there a chance this could be ok? I had sex two days before. Could that have maybe caused it?

In panic I ordered tests and did one yesterday and one this morning. There still showing a strong positive although I know not to put much weight on that. I’ll attach the photo.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It not getting heavier is a good sign. I spotted nearly everyday for 4 weeks in my 1st trimester. DS was born happy and healrhy. No reason for it could be found. You could of irritated your cervix when having sex.

When I last went to the doctors, about a month ago she said I had an etropian cervix? Googling says that may have caused it. Here’s hoping anyway!

That could definitely be the reason. If it gets heavier I’d call EPU but otherwise I’d just mention it at your next apt
