To think spinning babies is bs

As somebody who did yoga and all the inversions that are shown on spinning babies for my 1st, who ended up still being breech and never once swapped to head down, and being told for this baby transverse baby to do spinning babies techniques that it's utter bull.
Anybody else with me or am I alone in it never having had an impact on position of baby?

Didn’t work for me either. Both of mine were back to back and badly positioned. Never moved to a better position so had to have an EMCS. You are not alone!

My breech baby turned at 39+1 when I was kneeling on the sofa and lent over the front to pick something up for DD1. So although i didnt do spinning babies, I understand that it is similar to some of their poses. But in the end, I think a lot of it is luck - DD2 was 6lb 3oz when born so obviously more space to turn late on than a bigger baby.

I only found out about the breech position at 36w so it was already too late to try moxibustion (she was breech, transverse, oblique and then back to breech between 28w-36w). That seems to have some more evidence behind it?

It worked for me! My daughter was breech literally right up until the very very last moment when I was scanned prior to ECV, had spent the week before that doing all the tricks.

Maybe she would have turned anyway, maybe she wouldn’t have, I’ll never know now but it did seem to help.
