I am 14 weeks and last week or so have been exhausted. Like cant be bothered to move and just dont have any energy and want to sleep all the time.

I know this is normal in first 12 weeks but i wasnt especially tired (no more than normal with a 2 yr old!) but im not sure this is normal at this stage?

Yes it was for me i was exhusted through both of my pg's. But i never had any other symptions when pg.

WHen i was pg with dd1 i would drive home from work to pick dh from the train station and i would look myself in the car and fall asleep for 20mins.

have you had your iron levels checked i was the same couldnt stay awake needed to napp all the time

doctor told me its where baby absorbs all your nutrients and i became anemic

go see your gp who can arrange for blood test

not sure what you can do in meantime i found iced water with slice of lemon veyr refreshing and uplifting i guess all you can do is make yourself as active as possible at least get some fresh air on daily basis whether 5 min walk or more

rest up not sleep as such but dont rush around trying to do things that could wait

relaxing baths and early nights if possible

not sure if anything herbal you could take hope you feel better soon i didnt leave my bed for nearly 3 weeks when i was pregnant as couldnt move just kept nodding off

but fresh air and taking it easy throughout day will do you good and the nice bath and bed and wait for blood results and hope this feeling will pass

it is a case of forcing yourself out at times i know its hard but even sitting in the garden fresh air on your face will be better than being stuck indoors as that can make you drousy anyway

add more iron rich foods to diet just in case and vit c to help body absorb iron from foods

so drink pure orange and eat more greens red meats

and definatly would urge you to get the fresh air as sometimes when you fel down it can make you more tired
