Pregnant at 40 & terrified of MC

I just found out I’m pregnant after 3 failed round IVF
Im 40 and had a MMC 18months ago and so anxious it’ll happen again given my age

I guess I’m looking for fellow worriers, words or wisdom or positive stories

I had a baby at 40 after a previous miscarriage so I hardly dared let myself imagine having a baby but then I thought just go with it. But I also did take it easy. It was all fine and my baby is a gorgeous little girl now. Congratulations!

I'm a few months off 40. MMC last July, MC in Feb, no children. 12 weeks pregnant again now and anxiously waiting for my dating scan tomorrow. I totally understand your worries and not feeling like you can enjoy it. MMC in particular can make you feel that way, so much scanxiety! There are lots of threads on MN about older women having successful pregnancies that I've found really encouraging. It seems 39/40 isn't actually that old anymore. No answers as such just to say I get it and hoping for the best for you!
