Nausea and incredibly hunger in first trimester

Hey all, I’m 6+3 today, and nausea kicked in around 5 weeks but has ramped up in the last few days. I feel sick from the minute I stand up to the minute I go to sleep, but I’m also insanely hungry, as in I’m hungry every 30-40 minutes, belly rumbling like I’ve not eaten all day. I usually have a fairly small appetite.

I can’t stomach most foods, and even foods I can stomach are hit and miss and when I can eat them they taste odd. The hunger is all consuming, it’s half 1 in the afternoon and I’ve had the equivalent of 3 meals already, they’ve all been very beige and a bit small but they’re meals all the same.

I just don’t remember this at all in my previous pregnancies, anyone else the same?

I had this in both, it's truly awful. Got a bit better around 12 weeks. I'm usually a size 8 and I put a lot of weight on, thankfully as soon as I hsd given birth my appetite went back to normal deapite breastfeeding and the weight fell off.

The feeling was exactly the same as feeling sick due to hunger, so I was always eating to feel better for a bit.

I did find sugar free/low calorie mints and similar helped.

Yes this is me! It's horrible, the nausea is like no other. Someone actually suggested for me to take electrolytes and they've helped to an extent I can vary my eating habits which may be some use to you?Good luck and congratulations x
