My chest has been super itchy for days, it’s actually sore now and I’m going mental. What can I use? 24 weeks pregnant but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

please read up on obstetric cholestasis - just in case

probably just a heat rash but worth a check

You need to seek medical attention. There’s a severe complication of pregnancy that manifests as itching. Not saying you do or do not have this but you need to seek attention to be assessed.

Are you aware of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP). From the NHS website:

The main symptom is itching, usually without a rash. For many women with ICP, the itching is often:

more noticeable on the hands and feet, but can be all over the body
worse at night
Other symptoms can include:

dark urine
pale poo
yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes (jaundice), but this is less common

Yes, as others have said, do get checked out to rule that out. However I do think some itching in pregnancy is normal, breasts especially. I think it's the skin's sensitivity heightened.

i don’t think it’s cholestasis or i hope not! i had severe itching all over late in my first pregnancy and i was checked for OC and didn’t have it. i didn’t think it would be centralised to one area if it was? unless i’m wrong

Menthol moisturiser like dermocool is really good for easing itching

Looks like the same heat rash I get, in between my boobs too! I splash it was cold water and apply a fragrance free cream.

I would definitely get it checked in case it is a complication with your pregnancy. If it’s not then they really won’t mind that you’ve been checked. In the mean time, apply something like E45 or sudcream? Or even a bit of nipple cream!

I had this when pregnant and it was a fungal infection. Just go and ask your GP or a pharmacist what you can do about it.

Try Eurax it was the only thing that worked on my itchy belly when I was pregnant.
I use it now for mosquito bites.
