Anyone Running while pregnant?

Looking for other women running whilst pregnant. I was running 5km 2 or 3 times a week pre pregnancy. For the first 8 weeks I was quite nervous tbh so didn’t do anything but slowly started getting back in to it. Been running much much more slowly and less than 5k. Today I ran 5 in about 38mins (usually I’d be a 26 min pace) and I’m feeling totally wiped out. Will look to run for less time going forward I think but just wondering about other people’s experiences.

Hi

I am 28weeks and still running. Last time I made it to 35 weeks running before I had to give up. I just do 5k (mainly parkrun this time), and I walk up the steep hills. I just listen to my body and walk bits if I need to.

In my first pregnancy I was running 5k in about 35mins until 6 months (would usually have been around 25/26mins) before I slowed down a bit. This time I’m starting from a slower pace but doesn’t matter, I feel better afterwards for exercising.

Hope it goes well for you!

24 weeks 3rd pregnancy and still running once a week but currently also doing caroline girvan epic 2
Ran all the way through pregnancy 1, doing 10kms slowly in about an hour
Second, I was running a fair amount but also pushing a pram and lived with super big hills haha although I didn't run as far or as long with 2nd I was still doing it until about 30 weeks and then I stuck to hiit and strength sessions
I feel like my running is drastically slowing, and as I said before to somebody on here, it's more like a glorified walk with extra pep at some point 🤣
Still moving though, so I'm counting it!

Aw well done both and yes I just feel so good when I’m doing it. More in my mind but obviously also it is helping physically so I’m keen to keep going. I didn’t run at all with my first pregnancy as was already out of habit.

think I’ll just slow down a bit and try and get out and do something rather than focusing on the distance.
