Previous pregnancies I have used pregnacare as that is the norm but whilst trying to conceive this time I have used other conception vitamins after realising that pregnacare is full of fillers. I am considering another brand, perhaps wild nutrition.
What vitamins have you found good?

Zita West all the way for me. Expensive but no side effects. Contains natural folate instead of folic acid too.

@Objectiontimei have thought about Zita West but not loving that there is vitamin A in them so need to have a look into a bit more

I’ve gone with Active Iron Pregnancy and I also take vit D and Omega 3 in addition. I’m also actively eating a varied diet to support the supplements.

That's fair enough although both my general NHS fertility specialist and my immunology fertility specialist did highly recommend them. I guess what suits one person will be different for another. I was keen to take folate as opposed to folic acid so that won me over :)

I'm taking seven seas pregnancy, I took the ttc one so just carried on with the pregnancy one. No side effects and it contains folate etc so I'm happy x

I took inessa pills as it had everything I needed in them

I took various ones including wild nutrition, but used Ovum while doing IVF as they contain a lot of the extra stuff covered in it starts with the egg. I also took extra coq10 and omega. Spent a bloody fortune

Wild nutrition or Proceive. Then I used bare biology omega 3, and Coq10 (I can’t remember the brand name but check the ingredients first).

I use wild nutrition. It uses natural folate instead of the synthetic folic acid. My body must absorb it quite well as my pee isn’t bright yellow, which it used to be with less natural prenatals.

BabyBorn · 11/10/2025 14:46

I also take Cytoplan Omega 3 and high dose of vitamin d3.
