My LMP was 4th June, so with a normal cycle I would be 6+2 today. However, they're usually approx 31 day cycles but have been a little more sporadic lately.
I went for an early private scan today (viability scan) for some reassurance but they only offer abdominal scans unfortunately.
We saw the little embryo and it's heartbeat. Absolutely amazing feeling.
However... she did one measurement for dating (i thought they usually tried a couple of times for this but may well be wrong) and said measuring at 4w3d. This obviously worried me, so I questioned it. She just said it's normal for people to get dates wrong! I'm not that far out I know!
I explained that surely we wouldn't be able to see a heartbeat at that stage but there was a bit of a language barrier and i dont think she understood what i was saying, but she said she wasn't concerned about anything.
I already had a TV scan booked for Monday elsewhere (still private) so really praying that offers more reassurance!
Not looking for any questions answered really, just wondered if anyone had had a similar experience with different dates on abdominal and transvaginal scan after?
