40 weeks and 7 days pregnant… up until now I have been so relaxed and told myself that baby will come when he’s ready to make sure that I’m not stressing myself out and obsessing over starting labour.
However, I had a failed sweep last week and midwife said I was 2cm dilated. I’ve been on the birthing ball constantly, labour inducing workouts, walking ect. I went for another sweep yesterday and I was still only 2cm dilated and I still don’t feel like my body is anywhere near labour🥲 I’ve not had the best pregnancy and I’m feeling a little deflated that he’s still not here and that things aren’t moving. The only thing I’ve had to make me feel like he’s on the move is that I’ve been losing my mucus plug for 5 days and need to wee constantly, but other than that nothing… I’m so exhausted but am also trying to rest as much as possible but there doesn’t seem to be a healthy balance between staying active to encourage labour and resting. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated, but at this point I feel like I’ve tried everything 🤣

Watch a comedy programme that makes you laugh a lot - it worked for me.
