Please help reassure me I'm suffering

So i went in at what was suppose to be my first 8 week scan.. this is my first pregnancy. I'm 36. . All they could see was a gestational sack and a yolk sack.. there was no fetal pole/embryo attached.. I'm driving myself crazy hoping for some type of god ne2s. I'm up all night crying.. thus was a planned baby.. they say I'm way earlier than expected but the math doesn't add up.. I'm so confused and worrued.. are there any success stories.. I go back for an ultrasound the 25th... please be honest...

I don’t have any advice or knowledge but I just wanted to say I’m sending huge huge virtual hugs 🫂 do you have any support around you? This can be a scary time, & I know there isn’t much anyone can do whilst everything is so uncertain, but you shouldn’t have to feel alone:( I hope you get some answers soon ❤️

Are you sure the dates can’t be right for it to be behind what you thought? I always seem to not match up to how I’ve worked it out. And in one of the cases we only dtd once in a cycle as we were sick for most of the time and still it didn’t seem to match up to what it was supposed to be.

I don’t know about your case obviously but I have been on these boards for a few years and seen a lot of women who go in for early scans and then panic as there wasn’t a confirmed embryo there but it turns out they just went for a scan too early. Hopefully that will be you.

What are your dates? When was your last period? Are you usually regular? Did you track ovulation? When did you first get a positive test?
