SHORT maternity shorts?

I want some maternity shorts that are actually short i.e. not just above the knee. I've got good legs and I figure it will make me feel less like a Teletubby in the summer if I can show them off beneath my bump.

Topshop, M&S, PumpkinPatch and JoJoMamanBebe only seem to have knee length. H&M had some shorter denim ones but not in my size (12). Mamas and Papas had some very promising ones but a) they were pure linen, which seems a bit high maintenance with a toddler b) they weren't actually very short, more mid thigh, which is better, but not really what I want c) they did up with a popper, which is just stupid on a garment which is going to be under considerable pressure and d) they didn't have any in my size.

Anyone found any short shorts?

Ah, thanks. The Gap ones look like just what I'm looking for. Do you happen to know if they do mail order in the UK? My local GAP doesn't do maternity wear. Or where I can find out about other nearby stores which might do maternity - can only find a US store locator and US online sales.

Isabelle Olivier ones are lovely but too pricey for me! Dotty P ones fine but don't really want black or white.

Gap in the US won't ship overseas I've tried several different ways... i have a US debit card, but they still wouldn't ship to the UK. If you find a gap with maternity, please let me know! I'm looking for the same thing for the summer

I got my Gap shorts from the big store on Oxford Street in London. Here is a list of the other stores in the uk that do it:

Not much good if you live in the Midlands or South west but hope it helps

I think that Gap Maternity is going into more stores soon. Our local one (Cardiff) is getting it this week, in fact, so it might be worth checking whether they are rolling it out to more stores too.

could you not chat up the maganger/sales assistant at your local gap and see if they could order you some to their store. say they are the bast shop in the world and you are desperate etc. my local m&s will order things in they dont stock.
