Covid - 27 weeks

Think I am currently suffering with Covid at 27 weeks. Feel generally quite rough.

has anyone else had when pregnant? Did you need treatment etc? Was baby ok?

Yes, I had it in my 3rd trimester. I felt rough for a while but we were totally fine and didn’t need any treatment. She is now a very healthy 3 year old 🙂

I had it in my 3rd trimester and visited the hospital once for monitoring for movements but all was fine and my kid is now a 3 year old.

I'm sure plenty of people had it during pregnancy. Myself included.

Just treat it as a virus - rest, fluids etc

I had it at 36 weeks and was very unwell for a full 2 weeks. It took a lot longer to recover than non pregnant. Really knocks you in my experience. But all fine thank goodness! I remember feeling dreadfully anxious and so worried for baby, but just rested up as much as possible and kept a close eye on babys movements. Ring triage with any concerns at all but in all likelihood you and baby will be just fine x
