Maternity pads

Hi everyone,

I had my first child about 5 years ago...I was after some up to date recommendations for maternity pads

I previously got the Boots ones which worked well but the latest reviews aren't so great with a few saying the old ones were much better

Any recommendations?

I absolutely love the black pant type pads, the always ones! I'm due any day now, I'll use them and large boots pads alternating between the pants and pads. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Bumping this thread...

I'm very close to my due date and feel like I've been so disorganised this time round and so stressed out.

I've got the Frida mom postpartum pads. Has anyone else used them? Are they good?

The lillets ones have been fab for me this week

Hello, I'm a few months post partum - I've used the Morrisons ones! They're like the old Boots ones - long and really thick! And cheap too. They were great after my c-section! I know what you mean about the Boots ones now - a lot smaller and thinner!

I found Tesco own ones were fine - only bought them as I do my weekly shop there so was easier than anything else. Someone recommended adult incontinence nappies and I used these with a pad in for about the first week after birth - this worked really well.

Morrisons are really good, very absorbent and cheap!

Frida mom was good for me too, I had my baby 5 weeks ago and used them at the beginning. Boots were amazing for me a few years ago, I've had 2 babies in 15 months and I was so disappointed in the boots one's - wish I tried Morrisons now!

I second this. I still use them (the maternity ones) but for my monthly menstrual cycle now. They are really comfortable.
