Hi!
im 24 and trying to conceive with my boyfriend, i have PCOS so i know its going to be hard
we’ve only been trying for a month and I was on nexplanon for 8 years before
i took this test the other day and was wondering what you all think? Whether its an evap line or a faint +ve (the line is very thin but it is blue)
you can see I did another one the day after which is negative but would like to know what everyone thinks, save me getting my hopes up too high
thank you for reading:) x

Hey, if the one the day after was negative then I would say evap. You'd expect them to be consistent, and be getting darker every couple of days or so. You've only started TTC so my best advice is to never buy Clearblue tests. They're heartbreaking over the amount of nasty evaps they give, notorious for them. Buy a box of amazon cheapies, making sure they're pink dye. Save yourself the upset, and financial strain, that Clearblue cause so many of us!
Do you know how many DPO you are?😊 Im just wondering if you're testing early and is it worth trying another in a day or two. Very best of luck TTC either way!

Hiya,
thank you so much for replying, it means a lot

the DPO is a bit of a confusing one, as I said I was on nexplanon for a long time, and only just got it out 6 weeks ago. I haven’t had a period since then, which is why I’m almost certain it’s an evap line
but thank you for letting me know about the clear blues! Will definitely get some with pink dye for future. Seen that wee blue line and we got so excited! But I think I knew that it wasn’t a true positive

thank you so much for your help:)

I’ve had great results with wondfo tests off Amazon- I prefer them to easy at home. Cheap and reliable! Box of twenty for less than a box of clear blue! I’ve never had much luck with clear blue. I either get awful evaps, or like during my recent chemical pregnancy, the wondfos were positive but the early detection clear blue did not pick it up!

are you tracking with ovulation tests as well or just seeing how it goes?

Yeah, its hard when your cycle is only starting to regulate. Have you thought about doing OPKs? I am usually slow to recommend them and more in the mindset of 'just enjoy TTC' at the start. However because you mentioned PCOS, your ovulation could be a little more unreliable. Something worth thinking about if you felt it would help to pinpoint ovulation. I remember the first time I got a line on a Clearblue and didn't know about the evaps, cried my eyes out when I realised. Obviously I can't say 100% that's what's happened with yours, but purely because the next day's test was neg
I'm leaning that way. Wait it out a little longer if you can and test again. Fingers crossed for you🤞🏼
