Wanting to stop northistrone (period delay meds) and get pregnant

Hi guys,
I am writing this as me and my partner are wanting to get pregnant. I am on period delay medication due to my endometriosis and wanting to stop this. I have been having break through bleeding anyway. I do get irregular periods in general so hard to keep track of my periods. But I was wondering if anyone else has been through this and roughly how long do you think it will take to get pregnant once I am off these meds ?
thanks :)

I would think it’s probably best to speak to your doctor. As the PP said norethisterone is not itself a contraceptive so pregnancy can still happen. But I would imagine your best bet once you stop taking it is to start tracking ovulation to see if or when you ovulate. Depending on your age and circumstances if you just want to play it by ear you can just start having lots of sex every other day and see what happens! But if you want to maximise chances I’d advise tracking ovulation with test strips. The cheap ones are fine you don’t need to spend money on expensive tests. Unfortunately I have no idea how soon after stopping your meds you would ovulate. Did you have regular periods before you started on the meds? If not that can make things more tricky. But I think once you’ve established if and when you ovulate TTC will be easier!
