Pregnant already?

I've got 2 DS's already and we have just started trying for another baby. My period is due in 6-7 days so I'm not able to to test yet but I've already got a few tell-tale signs. Weeing for England and tender boobies being some of them.
The problem is I can't remember if I had the same feelings with my previous pregnancies so early on (that's if I am already).
Have any other mumsnetters had signs so early on?
I know I only a week to wait but I've wanted another baby for some time now and would be overjoyed if we were successful at the first time of of trying. We didn't have any trouble at falling pregnant with our DS's so could luck be on our side again?
Thanks

Hi Number3 - I'm expecting my first and had same symptoms (and back ache) week before period due so you might be right. I managed to get a positive home test then too....worth a go if you really can't wait! Fingers crossed

I was also lucky to fall pregnant immediatley with my first 3 years ago, and so I had a feeling that I might be lucky enough again this time, and we have! I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I was so excited I tested two days beforte my period was due-not pregnant, day my period was due-not pregnant, three days after my period was due-not pregnant, over a week later and I had a positive result! The day my period was due my breasts were clearly larger and really tender. So yes. Keep me informed.

Thanks girls and I will keep my fingers crossed. With both my pregnancies I fallen straight away, well DS1 was unplanned but going by dates he was concieved on the 16 day of my cycle. With DS2 we did the business between 12 and 16 days after my period and I fell pregnant on the 2nd month. This time it was 14 days after my period so technically speaking I should be lucky.
I've changed my nick-name for this topic as SIL read this fantasic site too and she'll probably guess who I am, I'm quite sure she won't guess just by the details of my menstural cycle though!!!

I did a pregnancy test 3 days after my period stopped because it was unusally light and a couple of days late. I too had tender breasts, going to the loo all the time etc etc. it was negative. I waited 3 weeks and did another one..... positve. I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant!! Therefore, doing the maths, I was only 2 weeks pregnant when I had symptoms!! So perhaps you are expecting number 3!! Keep us posted!!

Hello again. I'm now thinking that the symtons are all my imagination. I am going to the toilet more but that could be that I'm more aware of going after all I don't usually note down all my toilet visits. I haven't got much of a bust anymore after 2 DS's so I would expect to see any change straight away but there's nothing....so I think I haven't been so lucky this month. Has anyone else felt like this but still been lucky...I'd love abit of encouragement!

Number3 - you've had some symptoms so you could be. This early on they could be so minor they can seem to come and go. It all depends when you concieved as to when the test will show positive. You could buy a twin pack so if its negative you can try again in a week. I know its frustrating when you so want to be. It sounds like you are trying not to get your hopes up too much to avoid disappointment which is natural - but only time will tell I'm afraid. Fingers crossed for you.

I never have had much patience to wait for things. I must keep thinking it only another 3 or 4 days to wait until the day I'll be able to find out, it's hardly a lifetime now is it?!?

Well girls, I'm due on today and theres been no sign of my period.
Temptation got the better of me and I bought a couple of tests this morning planning on waiting until tomorrow to do them just in case I came on.
The result was POSITIVE!! I can't believe it, I am absolutley flabagasted.
I nearly forgot to change my nickname back to this one before posting and SIL would have definately guessed who I was so I'll look forward to putting my normal one even though I am a relatively new mumsnetter. You are all so nice with your advice to people and I'm really glad I found this site.
Ohhh aren't I a creep!

Bekki · 12/01/2003 18:59

Congrats number3! So you are 4 weeks pregnant and due end of Sept. I'm due beginning of Sept. We will have to carry right through the summer! I'm dreading that. Anyway congratulations again!

number3 · 12/01/2003 19:09

Hi Bekki, You're right, I'm just 4 weeks and according to my dates 21st September will be the big day!
It will be nice to chat about our growing bellies through the spring and summer, lets hope it's not to hot(I actually can't believe I'm saying that!!) as we'll be big by then.

With my past history of due dates I probably won't be seeing my baby until about your due date. I'm quite worried at the moment as I seem to have put on weight already even though my diet hasn't changed. I might be a whale by the end of this pregnancy! Is this your first pregnancy?

number3 · 12/01/2003 19:33

No this is my 3rd. My unbelieveable boring nickname sort of gave the game away.
My earlier posts asked if anytone had had symtons really early on and although after a while I thought I was imagineing them I FELT pregnant from the day after I concieved. I didn't dare mention it to my DH as I'm sure he would have thought I was mad but it's really wierd to just know. Did this happen with you? did you know? This is your 2nd isn't it.
