Where's my baby bump?

So my previous two pregnancies I was showing by 13 or so weeks I lovely little round pot belly... I am now 15 weeks 3 days and I'm still flat as a pancake in the mid section, baby looked absolutely fine at the 12 week appointment but im worried about progress and lack of bump!

Anyone shown later in pregnancy? Where is baby hiding out at the moment?

Someone put my mind at ease and tell me this is normal? Thank you!

Without being rude, the only thing I think that might lead to this is if your starting weight is higher with this pregnancy so baby may take longer to show?

Lots of things contribute to bump size I imagine, maybe less amniotic fluid?

I'm sure it is all fine. Like you said, they checked everything and all is fine, you could always speak to a midwife, hopefully they could give you some reassurance. I am not a midwife so I can only guess.

Thank you for your reply 😊 I'm actually much slimmer this time round which made me think I'd show more. Asking here because where I live midwives are next to impossible to contact and appointments are far between - my FIRST appointment (already had the booking appointment) isn't until after my 20 week scan.

Good point about fluid etc

It can be such an anxious wait for the 20 week scan! I thought early bumps are almost always caused by bloating so you could just be less bloated this time.
