Hello! I'm 38+5 weeks today. Last night my partner and I did the deed and when I went to pee later I had a full on bloody show and lost my mucus plug. It really freaked me out tbh seeing all that blood after so many months. The contractions started coming in and they were about 5mins apart but about 30-40s long. Manageable with a TENS. I called the birth centre and was asked to come in as it's my second baby and things can progress quickly. But once I got there things just slowed down! I was really surprised. Was hoping I'd be meeting my baby today. I'm back home now, and there is a constant dull backache but no regular contractions.
Anybody else experienced the same ? My waters are still intact. Wondering if this latent labour phase is going to drag on for days...
