I am pregnant at 43 with first baby. My partner is forcing me to abort. I want to keep. I don't know if I will able to do it on my own. I don't have a support system here.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this OP. Your partner cannot force you to abort- that is your decision to make and yours alone. But he can decide he will not be involved and so you have to decide if financially, physically, emotionally you can have a baby alone.

If you was to abort, in the long run you will probably end up resenting him anyway.

Do whats best for you and baby.
If you know you are able to do it on your own then do it. There are ways of meeting other parents as well eg. Antenatal classes, forums, new mom groups, pregnancy groups ect. They can also help to be a support system for you. You shouldnt have to abort for the sake of a man who doesnt want to parent his child.

Have you had the conversation re children before OP?

Where do you have a support system? Can you move there? Either way this relationship can’t survive can it?
