5 weeks pregnant! Is this amount of bleeding normal? Only lasted couple minutes then followed by brown spotting?
(Sorry for the picture but very worried)

im not sure what the protocol is but could you ring the local early pregnancy unit.

Hey, the bleeding started with a cramp and a backache followed by brown spotting. Now I am currently spotting with tinny brown blood clots, any idea what is happening? & what this could mean? I have been to my local hospital and they said „if you feel sick or dizzy come back but for now go home & rest” not scans were offered I am going out of my mind 😭

I had this. It was horrendous to see it.
Mine was a little later in pregnancy at 12 weeks but there was so much blood i thought there had been a massacre down there..

It ended the exact same way, bright red blood and then brown bleeding and tiny clots.

Turns out baby was absolutely fine but i just had a haematoma coming away which is where it all came from i was then having brown bleeding for around 4 weeks!

Dont give up hope. If you have any more cramping definitely get seen. Usually you have to be referred to EPAU, so maybe try and get in contact with your GP.

Contact EPAS for advice
my early MC started with spotting and pin prick dark blood clots
I have known people to have the same and it be implantation
It can go either way

My bleeding did not come to much, and my pregnancy tests remained very light / sometimes darker / sometimes negative. Then at 7-8 weeks I bled away everything

How did you get on @Newmum199 I had something similar at the weekend, perhaps a bit more and I've been told I can't be checked until I'm 6 weeks so have to wait a week for a scan. Really hoping all was okay x
