Sex 5-6 days before ovulation & pregnant - boy or girl?!

Hello,
i Know lots of people have opinions on the sometimes described theory of boy sperm being fast but not living long and girl sperm being slow but more resilient - not asking here about if people think it's true or false. Just wondering for those of you who conceived 5-6 days before your ovulation date (and are sure of dates) - interested to know if you had a boy or a girl? Thankyou!

I have DS1 - sex every day during fertile week, twice on ov day
DS 2 - sex every day from my LH surge to the day after ov
this pregnancy - sex once on the eve of day 9 of a 28 day cycle, ovulation usually d14/15 but this time I think day 15 (testing for LH surge 4 x daily, was negative at 11am on day 13 and weak positive by 4pm strong positive by 9pm. BBT rise on day 16 - given the fact it tends to be about 36 hours between my LH surge and then I then get my temp rise I think i ov'd day 15. Have been charting temps etc for contraceptive methods for 5 years and know my cycle well.

interested to hear outcomes in similar situations! Thankyou xx

I don’t think there’s any way to be absolutely certain, but I do know that Y chromosome carrying sperm (male), only survives for 24 hours after DTD. ‘Female’ sperm can survive up to 5 days.. so I’d say a girl! Complete guessing game though really 😂

There's a phenomenon called the returning soldier effect which has been seen globally and for centuries where records permit when in the year following a war there is an increase in the number of boys born. Typically there are 104 boy births per 100 girl births and this increases to 115 boy births per 100 girl births post war.
The thought is the more sex people have the earlier they conceive and it's more likely that a Y chromosome sperm finds the egg first. Big caveat here is that this difference is only seen on a population level and it can't really be used individually to determine if they are likely to have a boy or girl base on when they had sex relative to ovulation

I tracked ovulation twice and stopped dtd day before I was due to ovulate and got a girl twice. Sadly mmc one but currently 5 weeks pregnant again and used some method x

First time round, we DTD most days (can't quite recall) until the day after ovulation and conceived a boy. This time, we DTD every second day leading to ovulation with the last time the day of LH peak/day before ovulation and conceived a girl.

Ds - did the deed daily
Dd - did the deed a couple of days after my period ended, so quite a while off ovulation

Pregnant with my 3rd now and we had sex a couple of days after my period had ended, we won't be finding out the sex but I am suspecting a girl!
