Hi - just wondered whether anyone had any recommendations for maternity bras for the larger busted lady? I am really struggling to find anything supportive enough.

Thanks

Not M&S!
Is there a Bravissimo near you? They are really good at fitting and are all larger busted themselves. They were really helpful when I needed some swimwear post-partum. And I'm sure that they've recently expanded their maternity selection.

think some were raving re bravissimo - but hopefully this will bump this for you.

John Lewis usually has a good range too (as does figleaves if you know your size)

if you want something out of hte every day hotmilk is very comfy and goes up quite large

I'd second avoiding M&S - I bought a couple from there and they're totally unsupportive, yet still manage to to dig in and be really uncomfortable.

I've just sent for a few different brands to try on from Figleaves. I let you know what I find!

You don't need special maternity bras. A well fitting normal bra is absolutely fine.

I bought a fab underwired maternity bra from blooming marvellous- its not wired in the conventional way and is really comfy (I have 34 FF boobs and find non underwired ones really uncomfortable).

When I was really big 8/9 months I had to go for a soft one from mothercare- 36G which was great. I also recommend getting those bra extender things from bravissimo as my ribs went from a 34 to a 38 when I was pregnant- and took ages to deflate again after I had my DS.

this one is absolutely brilliant and hopefully you can use it afterwards for nursing too. I've struggled to find anything supportive yet comfortable and this has saved me
