Hi all, So myself and partner unfortunately had a miscarriage at the end of last year, We have been trying again last 3 months, Last months period was 4 days late and then the period came. This time we followed ovulation tests and did the deed etc.
Yesterday we done an Asda test and got a faint line, We did a home bargains one last night and was negative. Clearblue one this morning my wife said it was a no, Me being silly stripped the stick and this is what I see, Am I being daft? Is this an evaporation line?

You’ve invalidated the test by breaking it apart OP. That test means nothing.

Yes I know i have but I was sure I could see that very faint line when it was not broken, I opened it before it went in bin,

Ooh I mean there is definitely a line there, fingers crossed! I have broken apart many different tests in my time! How many dpo are you? Maybe test tomorrow with a clear blue digital - they’re pretty sensitive and it’s nice just having the words!

Or actually might be helpful to just stick to the same test brand? I used to just buy the cheap mommed test strips - found them good for not throwing off indents

Would have been 28 since last period yesterday, However the month before was 4 days late and them her period came. The Asda one yesterday was faint but was definitely something, Just would have thought clearblue this morning would have been stronger, Christ my partner didn't even see that very faint blue line, hence why I opened it... Now I'm confused because the home bargains one last night was a resounding NO

Looks too much like a dye run for me the whole strip looks a tad blue tinged you'll need to test again as it looks a faulty test

I think if you had a faint line on the asda one I would think you are pregnant. I agree, stick to the same brand of test, the asda one i would go with as they seem to be more sensitive?

Seeing as you did the asda one a couple of days ago, if you do another one today I expect the line would have darkened maybe?

LolaBumble · 08/07/2025 11:49

Ooh I can definitely see a line! What’s its looking like now? X

NewCyanCat · 08/07/2025 15:11
