Constant cramps at 4w 5d?

Hi everyone! We’ve found out this week that we’re pregnant, 4w 5d today. It’ll be our second - we had a CP just before falling pregnant with our son a few years ago so I think I’m just a bit wary in general!

I woke up yesterday morning with mild cramps, kind of like period pain - which I know is common but they haven’t stopped so it’s now been a just over a day. Even in the night when I woke they were there.

Is it normal to have mild but constant cramps for over a day?

I’ve had mild but constant cramps since I found out and I’m now 8 weeks, had a scan last Thursday and saw baby with heartbeat so can only assume it’s normal stretching of the uterus.
