Discharge at 35+2

Just looking for similar experiences about my situation although I will call the maternity unit after work. This is my first pregnancy.

I have been getting "watery" discharge for a couple of days now on and off - no real big amounts...I also think could be it is due to how warm it is (sweating!) and that I've read increased discharge is common in third trimester.

This morning I was getting ready and felt this wetness and when I looked my underwear was wet. There was no smell but I had to change my underwear. Thinking no more of it I put a liner on and went to work. After a couple of hours when I went to the toilet there was a small bit of very faint pink colour on the liner but nothing when I wiped, the liner also didn't feel wet to the touch and again no smell or anything. I have now changed to a bigger, thicker pad so I can monitor but the pink colour has thrown me a bit.

Google tells me could be due to cervix irritation, partial mucus plug (although no mucus) the whole way up to this could be an indicator of labour, which I'm hoping it isn't. Baby has been moving about.

Had anyone else had this at this stage of pregnancy and what was the outcome?
Thanks

Sound similar to me when I was pregnant the week leading up to having baby. I was 35+5 and ended in emergency c section!

@Coco1ocoyes, I went straight in and they put me on the monitor and had me on antibiotics for suspected sepsis ??? Baby’s heart rate dropping up and down, then it plummeted they pulled the cord and they had him out in 15 minutes x
